Job Description
Reporting to Asst. Vice President, the GM Marketing will play a mixed role in sales and marketing. Reporting to Asst. Vice President – Marketing, the assignment includes:
  • Making and executing a marketing and sales plan, specially for the Non Automotive sector
  • Getting actively involved in costing, client interaction and closing orders
  • Maintaining client relationships to ensure smooth transactions
  • Manage the Lead generation process for the organization
  • Open new LOBs and markets
  • Manage Macro Market information to assist the sales function
  • Set up and run the process for market forecast and build visibility for the future
  • Capitalize on economic down turn to penetrate local and overseas markets

Candidate Profile
The right candidate would:
  • Hold a BE degree, preferably an MBA (Marketing)
  • Has worked at marketing / selling Aluminium Castings through GDC / LPDC route
  • Is well networked in the relevant Automotive and Non Automotive industries
  • Is well versed with Aluminium castings costings and deal making issues
  • Has spent atleast 6-7 years in sales and marketing, of which at least the last 3 are at a senior level
  • Has worked at generating leads, researching, identifying prospective customers, opening dialog with them and bringing them to a logical conclusion
  • Is apt at making and running sales plans
  • Can work with superiors, peers and subordinates in meeting sales and marketing objectives
  • Can mentor subordinates
  • Be a natural net-worker
  • Has excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Is presentable, team player and is capable of presenting to top management
